A person who fails a written examination, or sections of a sectionalized examination, other than the PSTAR, required for the issuance of permit, licence or rating is ineligible to rewrite the examination or failed sections of the examination for a period of:

30 days after a first failure, and for each subsequent failure, a waiting period of 30 days plus an additional 30 days for each failure in excess of 2 failures up to a maximum of 180 days.

14 days after a first failure, and 30 days after a second failure. For each subsequent failure, a waiting period of 30 days plus an additional 30 days for each failure in excess of 2 failures up to a maximum of 180 days.

14 days after a first failure, and 30 days after a second failure. For each subsequent failure, a waiting period of 60 days plus an additional 60 days for each failure in excess of 2 failures up to a maximum of 180 days.
